How to Use YardBook

Managing Customers, Bills, and Money

๐Ÿ“ Starting with a New Customer

YardBook is where we keep all our customer info. Before we start any work, every customer must sign our simple agreement online.

  • 01. The Rules: This says exactly what we will do (like mowing every week), how much it costs, and our simple rules.
  • 02. Signing Online: We send the agreement to the customer's email. They can sign it on their phone or computer.
  • 03. Automatic Renewal: The agreement keeps going each year unless the customer tells us they want to stop (please give us 30 days notice).

๐Ÿงพ Sending Bills

We send bills automatically to make sure we get paid for our hard work.

  • 01. Billing After the Job: YardBook sends a bill as soon as you finish the job and mark it "Complete" on your phone.
  • 02. Monthly Bills: For regular customers, we can send one big bill on the 1st of the month for all the work we did.
  • 03. Fees for Being Late: YardBook adds a 5% fee if a customer doesn't pay their bill within 14 days.

๐Ÿ’ณ Getting Paid

We make it very easy for our customers to pay us.

  • 01. Credit & Debit Cards: This is the main way we get paid. It's safe and fast.
  • 02. Saving a Card: We ask regular customers to save their card so they can pay with just one click.
  • 03. Paying from a Bank Account: For big jobs, customers can pay straight from their bank to save us money on fees.
